Dual Enrollment
An opportunity for Wyoming high school students to take college courses early and earn credit while still in high school.
What is Dual Enrollment?
Dual enrollment courses are college courses taught by college instructors. These courses may be offered on campus, at an outreach center, or through distance learning technology such as online or video conferencing.
Earn Free College Credits
Wyoming’s Dual Enrollment and Concurrent Enrollment programs provide a great opportunity for Wyoming high school students to earn college credit while they are still in high school.
Eligible students take these classes free of charge. In fact, Wyoming students should now have the opportunity to complete at least 12 college credits while still in high school.
Why It Matters
Dual and concurrent enrollment courses are offered through all seven Wyoming community colleges. These classes count for both high school and college credit, giving students a valuable head start on their education.
